2012 -- Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament Team selection…started all 16 games for the Purple Aces defense…key component of a defensive until that posted six shutouts and a 1.21 goals against average, and led the MVC with a 0.32 goals against average and four shutouts in league games…took nine shots on the season, putting five on goal…took a season-high four shots at Murray State (Aug. 26).

2011 -- Started all 20 matches on defense for the Aces…Totaled one goal, one assist, three points, eight shots, and three shots on goal… Scored a goal in UE’s first contest of the season, a 2-2 tie at Indiana University (8/19)…Recorded an assist in UE’s 2-2 tie vs. Lamar (9/9)… Logged one shot on goal vs. Creighton (10/1) and at Indiana State (10/19)…Helped the Aces’ defense to five shutouts, including three consecutively en route to a semifinal appearance in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.

2010 – Goes into 2011 with two years of eligibility remaining...came back strong after missing the entire 2009 season...key player for the Aces in the midfield...team leader...scored goals in wins over Xavier and Murray State...made an assist  in victory over Northern Iowa...second on the team in shots (25), second in shots on goal (13), fifth in scoring (5).

2009 – Missed the entire season after suffering torn knee ligaments in the spring of 2009; underwent successful surgery in May, and played for the Aces in the spring of 2010.

2008 – Member of the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team...earned a starting assignment as a central defender in pre-season practice, and stayed in the starting lineup all season...played more minutes than any other newcomer in 2008...skilled player who reads the game well...part of a back four that posted six shutouts...24 goals allowed by Evansville tied for the fewest since 2000.

High School/Club – All-area, all-conference and all-sectional as a junior and senior...totaled 20 goals and 27 assists as a senior after scoring 21 goals with 12 assists as a junior...Chicago Fire/Daily Southtown All-Area Team.

Personal – Kasey Jane Cartwright...born Oct. 15,1989 in Chicago Heights, Illinois...daughter of Jeffery and Theresa Cartwright...has two brothers...majoring in exercise science.

Why UE? – “Because of the developing soccer program and it had the exact major in the career I want to pursue.”
