Biography
2008: Competed in four meets before injuries cut short her rookie season...consistently ran in UE’s top seven...turned in a season-best 5K time of 20:09.20 at the Earl Jacoby Memorial, placing 16th out of 97 runners...did not post a 5K time higher than 20:39 on the year...placed in the top 35 individually in all four meets in which she competed.
Background: A three-time all-conference runner at nearby Forest Park High School...lettered four years in cross country and one year in track for former Don Walters pupil Josh Susott at Forest Park...earned team MVP honors in both 2005 and 2007 in cross country...also earned back-to-back Mental Attitude awards as a junior and senior for the Rangers...helped Forest Park to a 12th place finish at the Indiana semi-state meet as a senior...majoring in exercise science.
