2012: Had a strong finish to her UE career, finishing second at the Tennessee Tech Invitational and 6th at the UE Invitational...finished 13th in her first event of the year at the EIU Open, running an 18:53.00...took 41st out of 214 at the Indiana Intercollegiate with a 19:19.0...took 34th/337 in the blue race of the Greater Louisville Classic posting an 18:39.76...took second at the Tennessee Tech Invitational with a 19:14.49...followed that with a 6th at the UE Invitational running a time of 18:48.76...placed 35th at the MVC Championship (18:44)...ran her quickest NCAA 6K time with a 23:05.
2011: Paced the Aces on three occasions as a junior...started off the campaign with a finish of 10th place at the Mid-America Opener with a time of 15:44...notched a finish of 8th at the EIU Open (18:27) to lead UE...finished with a time of 19:18 to place 6th at the Saluki Invitational to help UE to a 2nd place finish...set her PR in the 5-K at the Greater Louisville Classic, notching a time of 18:25 to finish 10th out of 257 participants, helped Evansville finish 7th out of 32 squads...ran her third sub-19:00 5-K at the UE Invitational, running an 18:51 to take 13th...notched a 6-K PR at the NCAA's, running a 23:18 to place 146th.
2010: Notched finishes of 30th or better in seven of the first eight meets in sophomore season...began the year with a 5th place finish at the UE Mid-America Opener with a 15:12...best 5K time of 18:37 came at Evansville Invitational where she placed fourth, helping UE to the team title...top finish of the season came at the Saluki Invitational where he 19:11 effort was good for third place...ran an 18:46 at the Greater Louisville Classic placing 14th.
2009: Named UE’s Most Valuable Runner as a true freshman...is the first freshman to earn the women’s Most Valuable Runner award since four-time MVP Andrea Sonnenschein did so in 2004...led UE in six of its eight meets as a rookie, while competing in all eight meets...posted four top 20 individual finishes, including a season-best 11th-place finish at the Mid-America Opener (16:48.57-4K)...ran UE’s fastest 5K time of the year at the EIU Panther Open with a mark of 19:23.88 to finish 16th overall...also posted a time of 19:29.00 at the Great American Cross Country Festival...posted the 10th-fastest 6K time on record at UE at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals (23:30.10).
Background: A multi-sport standout at nearby Gibson Southern High School who earned all-county honors in cross country, track, and basketball...lettered four years in each sport for the Titans...ran cross country for former UE standout Jeremy Aydt...a three-time all-conference cross country runner...also placed in the top 10 at the sectional meet all four years...named team MVP as a freshman...two-time sectional champion in the 800-meter race in track...a member of Gibson Southern’s 4x400-meter relay team which placed 23rd in the state in 2009...also earned honorable mention all-state honors in basketball, while recording over 1,138 points in her career...helped the Titans win a total of 12 sectional championships in the three sports during her four-year career...majoring in nursing.
