University of Evansville Athletics

2010-11: Won 11 individual events on the season...set UE school record on the 3-meter boards with a score of 318.9 against Centre College...became first Evansville diver ever to be named MAC Swimmer of the Week (10/20)...placed 15th on the 1-meter and 13th on the 3-meter at the 2011 MAC Championships...qualified and competed in the NCAA Zone C Championships...Academic All-MAC selection...UE-Vectren Student Athlete of the Week.

2009-10: Competed at NCAA Zone C Diving Championships…named Academic All-MAC…placed in the finals at MAC Championships…took first in 1M and second in 3M against SIU…earned first in 1M at IUPUI Invite with Zone-qualifying score of 303.80…finished first in 1M and second in 3M at Western Kentucky…placed second in 1M at Missouri State.

2008-09: Won the 1M and placed second in the 3M dives in the Aces’ win over Eastern Illinois…finished second in the 3M dive over Miami…finished second in the 1M dive at WKU.

2007-08: Was the top diver in the 3M diving event at Missouri State…had personal best score in a second place finish in the 1M at Southern Illinois…finished second in the 1M and 3M diving against Rose Hulman and Vincennes.

At Harrison: Two year letterwinner in varsity diving…received the most improved award his freshman season…city diving champion in 2006...a 2006 SIAC diving champion...sectional champ in 2006 as well...personally undefeated in 2006-07 competition season...received the Warrior Award two different times…all-city academic selection…posted a high six dive score of 235.20…had a high 11 dive score of 411…was a state qualifier his junior year.

Personal: Son of Ken and Pam Balczo…majoring in business management.
