Biography
2008-09: Had a first place finish in the 200 fly over Eastern Illinois…had his best times in the 100 back and 100 fly at the SBC championships…finished third in the 200 fly at Miami…took third place in the 100 fly at Western Kentucky.
2007-08: Won the 200 back at Eastern Illinois…took first place in the 100 back at Rose Hulman…had second place finishes in the 200 fly and 200 back at Western Kentucky.
At Wasilla: Four-time letterwinner in swimming and diving…Region III boys most valuable swimmer award winner in 2006 and 2007…team spirit award winner in 2005...as member of Wasilla Waves Swim club, received outstanding sportsmanship award and the Eric Van Dyke Memorial Award for community involvement and being a successful student.
Personal: Son of Will and Barbara Fernandez…majoring in business marketing.
