Biography
2011-12: Placed third in both the 100-breast and200-breast against Lindsay Wilson on January 14…was also a part of the first place 200-medley relay team that won against Lindsay Wilson… finished 19th in the 100-breast at the MAC Championships…owned UE’s second-best time in the 100-breast, 200-breast and 200-IM.
2010-11: Owned UE’s fastest time in the 200-IM, with a time of 1:56.69 at the MAC Championships…posted a season-best time in the 100-breaststroke at the MAC Championships…took second place in the 200-breast at Miami of Ohio. 2009-10: Earned the team’s fastest time in the 200 IM…placed first in 200 IM against Miami (OH)…took second in 200 IM at St. Louis…finished third in 200 IM at IUPUI Invites.
At Saint Charles: Lettered four years for the Cardinals…named to the all-Ohio, all-district and all-Central Catholic League teams…two-time state qualifier… named team captain…four-time scholar athlete…also lettered in water polo.
Personal: Son of Dan and Rene Shotwell…majoring in civil engineering.
