2010 – Started on defense in all 17 matches in which she played...one of the most improved players on the team...became an excellent central defender because of her ball skills and ability in the air...scored her first collegiate goal on her first shot, against Miami (Ohio) Sept. 19.

2009 – Played in a total of five matches...started against Murray State, Purdue, Memphis and Troy, and came off the bench against Middle Tennessee...tall, strong defender with good ball skills.

Junior College – All-region and all-conference defender for two years at Walla Walla (Wash.) Community College...helped lead WWCC to a two-year record of 46-2-1...totaled eight goals and 13 assists despite playing defense.

High School/Club – A member of the Boise Capitals SC that won five state championships...earned first team all-state honors as a senior at Borah High School.

Personal –Shayna Jones...born September 15, 1988 in Boise, Idaho...daughter of Lynn and Cheryl Jones...has two older brothers and one younger sister; brother, Tyler, was a kicker at Boise State and in NFL Europe...majoring in sociology.
