University of Evansville Athletics

2010 – Played in 14 of UE's 19 matches, and made four starts--against Western Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, and in MVC Tournament matches against Drake and Creighton.

2009 – Starter on defense in each of the last 12 matches...one of the most improved players on the team...showed the ability to start up the attack from her outside defender position...good distributor of the ball who made assists against Missouri State, Eastern Illinois and Middle Tennessee.

2008 – Reserve marking back and defensive midfielder who played in two matches as a sophomore, against Austin Peay and Northern Iowa...had a shot on goal against Austin Peay...showed good ball skills.

2007 – Squad member who practiced with the team throughout the year...did not play in any matches during the fall season.

High School/Club – All-conference in 2006-07, academic all-state in 2006 and 2007 at Valparaiso High School...helped lead Valparaiso to three sectional and two regional titles...led a defense that allowed only 10 goals in her senior year, and finished the season with a 21-1 record.

Personal – Amanda Lynn Malone...born Sept. 20, 1988 in Indianapolis, Ind...daughter of Rick and Nancy Bond...has one older sister, Caitlin, who played soccer at Washington (Mo.) University...National Honor Society member...majoring in nursing.
