2009:  Shared UE’s Most Improved Runner award on the men’s side with fellow junior Chris Kipchirchir...set new personal-best times in the 6K (20:08.60), 8K (26:34.00) and 10K (36:00.33) distances as a junior...consistently ran in UE’s top five, competing in all eight meets...ran third on the team and finished 25th out of 90 runners at the EIU Panther Open (26:47.24-8K)...posted his career-best 8K time of 26:34.00 at the Great American Cross Country Festival...placed a season-best 21st overall at the Mid-America Opener (20:08.60-6K).

2008:  Developed into a key part of UE’s lead pack as a sophomore...ran in UE’s top seven in all seven of the meets in which he competed...finished fourth on the team and 10th overall in helping UE win the Tennessee Tech Invite title (27:27.00-8K)...also placed 17th out of 71 runners at the Earl Jacoby Memorial (27:55.50-8K)...posted a season-best 8K time of 26:54.44 at the UE Invitational.

2007:  Participated in six of UE’s eight meets as a rookie...consistently ran in UE’s top 10...finished the year strong, posting a season-best 8K time of 27:37.79 at the UE Invitational...highest individual finish was 17th out of 51 runners at the Tennessee Tech Invite.

Background:  Lettered in cross country and track at Rockville High School in Indiana as a high school senior...earned all-conference honors in both cross country and track in his only year at Rockville...attended Starkenburg-Gymnasium Heppenheim in his native country of Germany...majoring in business at UE.
