2011: Led Aces to 3rd place at Mid-America Opener with an 11th-place finish notching a time of 19:23...came home in 27th at Saluki Invitational helped UE place 2nd, ran a 28:04...notched a 26th-place run at UE Invitational with a 26:38...set PR in 10K in NCAA's with a 32:43, good for 118th out of 211 runners.

2010: Junior charted times in each of UE's eight meets in 2010...came home in 26th place at UE Mid-America Opener with a time of 19:45...recorded a 28th-place finish at the Saluki Invitational, running an 8-K time of 27:59...notched his 3rd top 30 finish of the season at the Evansville Invitational, coming to the line in 29th place with a 26:18.

2009:  Earned a medical redshirt during the 2009 season...did compete in three meets before his season was cut short...placed 23rd at the Mid-America Opener (20:32.03-6K)...also competed at the EIU Panther Open (28:38.48-8K) and the Indiana Intercollegiate Open Race (29:14.00-8K).

2008:  Received the program’s “110 Percent” Award...ran in UE’s top five in seven of the eight meets in which he competed...finished in UE’s top three in each of the year’s final three meets...posted UE’s third-fastest 8K time of the year with a personal-best mark of 26:04.64 at the UE Invitational...ran second for the Purple Aces at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals for the second-straight year (34:44.80-10K).

2007:  One of UE’s top newcomers who competed in all eight meets during his rookie season...ran in UE’s top five for much of the year...posted four Top 25 individual finishes, including a ninth-place finish at the Tennessee Tech Invite...turned in a season-best 8K time of 26:21.73 at the UE Invitational...ran fourth for UE at the State Farm MVC Championships (27:09.91-8K) and second at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals (34:25.05-10K).

Background:  A three-year letterwinner in track and cross country at Cincinnati Colerain High School...earned first team all-conference and all-district honors on the cross country course as a senior...placed seventh at districts in a field which included four of Ohio’s Top 25 runners...helped the track team to a pair of district titles...son of UE Hall of Fame runner David Denny...majoring in economics.

Why UE?:  Both parents graduated from UE and I liked Coach Walters.
