Biography
2011: Began her senior season on a high note, tallying a 15th-place run in the season-opening Mid-America Opener (16:19)...followed that with a PR in the 5-K EIU Open, running an 18:42 on her way to a finish of 18th...recorded her top finish of the season as the Saluki Invitational, placing 13th with a run of 19:48, helped the Aces to a 2nd place finish at the event...placed 21st at the UE Invitatioanl with a time of 18:59...wrapped up her career with a 149th at the NCAA's, setting a PR in the 6-K with a time of 23:24.
2010: In junior season, notched three top 20 finishes, led by a pair of top 15 efforts at the meets hosted in Evansville...began the season with a 15th place run at the UE Mid-America Opener, notching a time of 15:57...in the Evansville Invitational, came in 12th place with her top 5K time of 18:58...ran a 20:45 at the Saluki Invitational placing 20th...capped off the year with a 23:35 effort in the 6K at the NCAA G.L. Regional.
2009: Limited to just three meets before injuries cut short her junior season...earned a medical redshirt...best individual finish was 18th at the Mid-America Opener (17:43.65-4K)...ran in UE’s top six at both the EIU Panther Open (20:10.76-5K) and the Indiana Intercollegiates (20:38.70-5K)...received the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award for her work in the classroom.
2008: A key member of UE’s scoring pack as a sophomore, racing in UE’s top four in all eight meets...posted five Top 30 individual finishes, including three Top 15 finishes...led the team at both the EIU Panther Open (19:35.63-5K) and Tennessee Tech Invite (19:54.9-5K)...best individual finish was 10th at the Tennessee Tech Invite...ran UE’s third-fastest 5K time of the season at the UE Invitational (19:23.02).
2007: Named UE’s Most Outstanding Freshman on the women’s side...the only female rookie to compete in all eight meets, consistently running in UE’s top four...ran second on the team at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships with a 6K time of 23:55.38...turned in a season-best 5K time of 19:20.43 at the UE Invitational...helped UE to the overall team title at the Tennessee Tech Invite by placing eighth overall (20:39.43-5K).
Background: Lettered two years in cross country, one in softball, and participated in volleyball at Perry Meridian High School...helped the Falcons qualify for the semi-state meet as a senior, despite battling injuries...finished 16th at the 2005 Edinburgh Sectional in a 4K time of 15:52 as a junior...graduated in the Top 10 of her class... majoring in health services administration.
