2013: Ran opening three races of the season...took 22nd at the Mid-America Opener with a time of 21:37.67...top 8K race was a 27:59.9 at the Fleet Foot Invitational as he finished 28th out of 80.

2012: Finished each race in 2012, beginning with a 9th in the Mid-America Opener (19:57)...came in 38th out of 127 in the EIU Open with a 27:21...took fourth place as the Aces won the Tennessee Tech Invitational, ran a time of 27:21.83...posted a 32nd at the UE Invitational (27:33.48)...brought home a 36th (25:49) at the MVC Championship before running a 33:39 10K event at the NCAA's.

2011:  Notched a pair of top ten finishes for the Aces...was the squads leading finisher on three occasions...set PR at EIU Open, finishing seventh with a time of 25:24...finished 8th at Saluki Invitational with a time of 26:34 as UE took 2nd place honors...opened season with an 18th place run at Mid-America Opener leading Aces to third place finish...took 24th place in field of 285 runners at Greater Louisville Classic (25:37).

2010:  Top finish of the season came at Mid-America Opener where he placed 18th with a time of 19:06 in the 6-K....ran a 26:33 in the 8-K Evansville Invitational, finishing 40th overall...recorded a 27:58 at the Saluki Invitational, placing 27th while helping the Purple Aces to a second place finish...improved as the season went along, with his top two 8-K times coming in the final two meets of the year.

Background:  A three-time state qualifier in both cross country and track at Theodore Roosevelet High School in Des Moines, Iowa...posted two top 15 finishes at the Iowa state cross country meet in his career, including a third-place state finish as a senior...named to the Iowa Elite All-State team as a senior (top 10 runners in the state, all classes)...also earned Academic All-State honors as a senior as well...placed 12th at the state cross country meet as a sophomore...helped the Rough Riders to a state runner-up team finish as a sophomore...also helped Roosevelt H.S. win four conference championships...qualified for the Iowa state track meet in the 4x800-meter relay event twice, while also qualifying in the 1,600-meter race as a junior...a National Merit Scholar Letter of Commendation recipient...plans on majoring in mathematics at UE.

Why UE?:  I chose UE because of the people.  The staff and students were nice and very helpful and seemed truly interested in me.
