2010 – Saw action in 21 games with a career-high five starts in the outfield (4) and at DH (1) as a junior...Made the move from the infield to the outfield as a junior...Went 1-for-22 on the season (.045) with his lone hit being his first career home run at Samford (3/6)...Drove in three runs, with two coming at Samford (3/6 and 3/7) and one at Missouri State (3/27)...Went 2-for-2 in the stolen base department...Played in five MVC games, with one start at Southern Illinois (5/16)...Went 0-for-3 with a walk in MVC play.

2008 – Earned a medical redshirt after breaking a bone in his hand in early March...Played in nine games, including three starts in the infield...Hit safely in all four games in which he recorded an at-bat...Hit .308 (4-for-13) with four runs scored.

2007 – Appeared in 17 games as mainly a pinch-runner and defensive replacement...Scored six runs, while also going 1-for-1 in the stolen base department.

Background – A two-year letterwinner in baseball at Oak Park-River Forest High School in Illinois...Earned  West Suburban All-Conference honors as a senior, hitting .408 with 35 runs scored and 27 RBI...Helped the Huskies to the Elite Eight in 2005 and a 28-12 record in 2006...His older brother, Scott, played baseball at Illinois State from 1998-2002...Majoring in physical education and health education...Chose UE for the chance to play Division I baseball.
