2009-10: Played in one fall tournament, shooting 82 and 78 for 65th place in a field of 99 at the Dayton Flyer Invitational...did not play in any spring tournaments.
2008-09: Saw his first collegiate competition at the Butler Fall Invitational, where he finished 88th in the field of 95 (79-85-76=240)...did not play in any spring tournaments.
High School: Second place finisher in 2008 Tigo Cup... medalist in 2007 in Presidents Cup and in two National Circuit of Golf tournaments...also won Las Tacuaras tourney.
Background: Ricardo J. Paredes...born August 2, 1990 in Asuncion, Paraguay...son of Juan and Alicia Paredes...excellent student, majoring in civil engineering.
