At Evansville 05-06:Set the Aces' fastest times in the 50 free and 100 fly...had a great finish against 19th ranked Notre Dame swimming to first in the 50 and 100 free...placed first in the 100 fly versus Missouri State...won the 200 back against Vincennes...finished first in the 50 free versus St. Louis University...placed third in the 100 fly at the MVC championships. 04-05: Won the 100 fly and set a school record with the 49.74 performance at the MVC Championships...also finished sixth in the 50 free...won the 100 fly and 100 free versus Indiana...had a great showing versus Western Kentucky, winning the 100 fly and 50 free as well as the 200 free relay. 03-04: Earned all-MVC honorable mention honors by finishing seventh in the 100 fly at the MVC Championships...finished ninth in the MVC Championships in the 100 free.
Background: Two-time MVP at Carl Sandberg High School, winning six state medals...selected to the All-State and All-American National Honor Rolls for the 100 fly...also lettered in water polo...son of Gregory and Peggy Maksimuk...majoring in accounting.
