Biography

2010: Started in all 30 matches…led team with 91 total blocks and 13 solo blocks…ranked tenth in the MVC with .89 blocks per set… owned the second best attack average for the Aces this season (.249) with 233 kills…averaged 2.28 kills per set…recorded a career-high .562 attack percentage against McNeese State (9/4)…tied her career-best of 15 kills against Indiana State (10/9)…posted five kills, one dig and seven blocks against Loyola Chicago (9/11).

2009:
Played in 23 matches…third on the team with 0.48 blocks per set…only Ace named to the Wright State Raider Challenge All-Tournament Team after hitting 25 total kills, including a career-high 15 at Wright State (9/10), and six total blocks in the weekend (9/10-9/11)…one of four players to hit over .400 versus UTM (9/14) with a .438 attack percentage…posted four blocks in team’s first win against Creighton (10/16) under Mike Swan…tabbed career-high five blocks versus Drake (10/17)…recorded 10 kills and four total blocks at Creighton (11/14).

2008: Appeared in 22 matches and 65 games in her first season…named to the all-tournament team at the Loyola Invitational…third on the team averaging 3.58 assists per set with a total of 233 assists…had 13 matches with 10 or more assists…hit .400 and had a season-high nine kills with 23 assists against Tennessee-Martin (9/6)…had a season-high 24 assists with seven kills and eight digs against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (9/10).

At Jasper: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Jasper High School...was chosen as team MVP in 2007...received IHSAA Mental Attitude award as a senior...named all-conference for three consecutive years...helped lead the Wildcats to the state finals as a senior.

Personal: Kaisi Lynn Nixon...born October 12, 1989...daughter of David and Becky Nixon...has one younger brother, Karson...majoring in business.
