2008:  A consistent top six runner for UE, competing in all eight meets...helped UE to its best State Farm MVC Championship finish ever by finishing second on the team and 36th overall in a season-best 8K time of 26:50.31...also raced fifth for the Purple Aces at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals (35:17.00-10K)...best individual finish was 13th overall at the Tennessee Tech Invite (27:58.00-8K)...also placed 14th out of 71 runners at the Earl Jacoby Memorial (27:32.90-8K).

2007:  Battled nagging injuries to compete in all eight meets...still posted three Top 20 individual finishes, including a 10th-place finish at the Earl Jacoby Memorial (28:10.10-8K)...turned in a season-best 8K time of 26:32.47 at the UE Invitational...ran second for UE at the State Farm MVC Championships in an 8K time of 26:52.60...earned the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and a place on UE’s Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

2006: One of UE’s top newcomers...consistently ran in UE’s top six...placed fifth overall at the Mid-America Opener in a 6K time of 19:27...placed 16th out of 89 runners at the UE Invite in a season-best 8K time of 26:24.90...ran fifth for UE at the NCAA Great Lakes Regionals in a 10K time of 34:41.88...one of only two rookies to compete in all eight meets.

Background:  A four-year standout in cross country and track at Northeast Dubois High School...a three-time state finalist and first team all-state selection in cross country...placed third at the 2005 Bedford semi-state meet before placing 50th in the state finals...won the 2004 Jasper sectional ...qualified for the state finals three times in the 3,200-meters in track...placed 15th in the state in the 3,200-meters as a senior in a school-record time of 9:34...holds school and sectional records in the 3,200-meters...majoring in nursing.
