2007: Saw action in six of UE’s eight meets as a freshman...ran in UE’s top six during the early part of the season...posted a pair of Top 20 individual finishes, including a 13th-place finish at the Tennessee Tech Invite (29:17.89-8K)...also placed 18th at the Mid-America Opener (20:07.08-6K)...ran a season-best 8K time of 28:00.65 at the Indiana Intercollegiates.
Background: Lettered four years in cross country and outdoor track at Kings High School, while also lettering two years in indoor track...a first-team all-conference pick as a senior...qualified for the regional meet as an individual twice...helped the Knights finish fourth in Ohio in 2003 as the team’s “Rookie of the Year” ...qualified for the state finals in the indoor 3,200-meters in 2007...majoring in civil engineering.
