2014: Totaled 206 sigs (2.42/set) in her inaugural season with the Purple Aces…had a total of 29 kills and was in the top five on the team with 11 service aces…career mark of 8 kills came at Belmont, which was one of her six starts on the season…had 8 double-digit dig efforts with her top efforts being 22 in a win at Drake and 20 in the home triumph over Bradley…posted two aces in match at Indiana State…had four block assists as a freshman.

Prior to UE: Participated in volleyball and track/field in high school…played at Monroe College over the last two seasons earning NJCAA All-American accolades in 2012-13 while being named team MVP…earned MVP honors as the 2012 Niagara CC Tournament…played in the 2009 and 2012 All-Star AAU Jr. National Volleyball Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Domingo Cordero and Aitza Moreno…has a brother Gabriel and sister Thalia…father participated in three Olympic games for Puerto Rico in track and field (1988, ’92 and ’96)…held the national record in 400m hurdles for Puerto Rico from 1986-2007…majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Exercise Science.
