2014: Took part in all seven races of his freshman season at UE...improved each and every race out as his times got lower as the season went along...began his career with an 18:57.33 in the 5K Belmont Opener...ran five 8K events, lowering his time in each race...that culminated in his PR of 30:499.46 at the MVC Championship...ran a 40:00 in the NCAA 10K race.

Background: Ran four years of varsity for Cross Country and Track at Oldenburg Academy where he finished with a perfect 4.0 GPA...his top effort was a 17:56 5K run at the Guerin Catholic Invitational...named Most Valuable Runner and also garnered the Twister Award, which is given out for best attitude...he is the son of James and Betty Frey...his major is Electrical Engineering.

Why UE? Because it is a small and friendly school.
