University of Evansville Athletics

2015: In her lone season at Evansville, she started four matches and played in 80 frames…set her season mark with 10 kills at Loyola, also had season-high of 27 attempts in that match…recorded 11 block assists on the season…notched 10 service aces in 2015 with three coming at DePaul.

Prior to UE: Played her first three years of college at Jacksonville University where she was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team in 2012…earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team in the 2013 FIU Tournament while playing at JU…also starred in sand volleyball at Jacksonville where she was the A-Sun Freshman of the Year…was on the All-Star Team in the 2012 Puerto Rico Junior National Championship…helped the JU volleyball team to back-to-back A-Sun Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances in 2013 and 2014.

Personal: Daughter of Gabriel Roman and Lourdes Latorre…has an older brother (Gabriel) and sister (Tatiana)…will be majoring in Psychology at Evansville…hopes to get her Master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology…considers her family to be her biggest motivation.
