Biography
2018-19: As as senior, she played in 27 rounds with 13 being in the 70’s and 26 in the 80’s or lower…had a great finish to the fall, posting three top nine finishes in a row…tied for 7th at the Butler Fall Invitational with a 155 before taking 5th, her best effort of the year, at the Chi-Town Fall Classic…tied for 9th at the Braun Intercollegiate in Evansville…tied for 7th at the ASU Spring Kickoff…picked up another top ten, tying for 8th at the Saluki Invitational…shot a 75 in the final round of the MVC Championships, her top round of the season.
2017-18: Was UE’s No. 2 golfer with an 81.42 average…after posting an 84.18 mark in the fall, she performed exceptionally in the spring, notching a 79.40 average…two rounds of 79 saw her tie for 5th place at the Alabama State Spring Kickoff…followed that up with another top ten, earning a 9th place finish at the Lonnie Barton Invitational…her low round of the year came in the first 18 holes of the MVC Championship as she shot a 76.
2016-17: Had a stroke average of 84.25 for the season while completing the fall with an 81.85…started the season off with a 234 at the Redbird Invitational, tying for 40th…had a 77 in round one, tying her low round of the season…tied for 26th at Loyola Fall Invitational, tied for top finish of the season…matched her tie for 26th at the Braun Intercollegiate, posting a 77 in round one and 85 in second…top finish of the spring was a tie for 32nd at Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
2015-16: Had a solid first season at UE, finishing with an 84.96 stroke average over her 24 rounds of play…her best effort of the year came at the Don Benbow Invitational as she recorded a season-low 74 in the second round before finishing in 7th place…came home in a tie for 33rd out of 74 golfers in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate.
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Julie Chaney...has two sisters - Samantha and McKenna...attended Trigg County HS...was a KHSAA State Golf Tournament Qualifier...2-time KY All-A State Qualifier...All-A Region Medalist...AAU National Champion and runner-up in her career...4-time KHSAA Academic All-State First Team member...was a member of the National Honor Society as a senior.
