2020-21: Played in 12 rounds in the spring with 8 of them finishing with scores in the 70’s…posted scores of 73-78-74 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate before picking up three more solid scores at the Murray State Invitational (78-74-76)…his 73 in the opening round of the Bobby Nichols Int. was his season-low…tied for 41st at the MVC Championship…wrapped up the year with a 78.08 average.
2019-20: Took part in 11 rounds as a junior…finished with a 79.36 average…after averaging 81.00 strokes in the fall, lowered that average to 77.40 over the course of five spring rounds…low round of the season was a 69 in third round of ASU Spring Classic…earned his best finish – tying for 17th – at ASU Spring Classic…tied for 18th at the Don Benbow Invitational in March.
2018-19: Completed his sophomore season with a 77.03 stroke average…25 of his 31 rounds finished in the 70’s…low round of the year was a 69 in the final round of the EKU Intercollegiate…shot an 11-over 227 in the Fuzzy Zoeller Invitational, tying for 47th out of 70…following round of 76 and 79 to open the EKU event, shot 1-under 69 in third round, his low round of the season…top finish of the fall was a tie for 27th at the NKU Fall Collegiate Classic…finished the fall with a 75.57 average…tied for 25th place to open the spring at the ASU Spring Golf Kickoff…low round of the spring was a 1-under 71 in round three at the Big Blue Intercollegiate…came home in a tie for 40th at the MVC Championship.
2017-18: Played in 20 rounds while finishing with a 77.85 stroke average…had his best three fall rounds at the Murray State Invitational, notching scores of 76, 74 and 76…in second round of Alabama State Spring Kickoff, had low round of year with 72…posted top finish in that event, tying for 24th place.
Prior to UE: Earned letters in golf and soccer in his time at William Mason HS…was the runner-up for the Greater Miami Conference Player of the Year in 2016…was an Optimist International Ohio District Qualifier Finalist in 2015…2-time Greater Miami Conference First Team All-League player…captain of the Mason Varsity Golf Team for three years…earned Mason High School Athlete of the Week honors…earned two top 5’s in the SOPGA Junior Series at Westbrook CC…tied for 182nd place at the GMC Tournament…had three Golfweek Junior Tour top 10 finishes.
Personal: Son of Derek and Jennifer Brumley and has a younger brother Gabe...born in Ft. Stewart, Ga….attended William Mason High School in Ohio.
