Background – An honorable mention all-state catcher in 2007 at Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky...Hit .287 as a senior, while posting a .989 fielding percentage and throwing out 28 men behind home plate...Earned second team all-city honors as a junior in 2006...Helped the Generals to a pair of district championships in 2004 and 2005, and a state runner-up finish in 2005...Lettered four years in baseball at Lafayette...Plans on majoring in education at UE...Chose Evansville “because of all the great, friendly people, and the fact that it felt like home.”
