Biography

2006 - Recipient of the Greg Bordfeld Spirit of the Aces Award...versatile player who moved from defense to outside midfielder...one of the first players off the bench..made assists in season-opening 4-2 victory over Austin Peay, and 7-0 win over Troy...reads the game well...can play any of the midfield positions.

2005 - Played less because of the number of new players on the squad who contributed, but still played an important role off the bench...reserve defender who played in 11 of the Aces' 19 matches...starting defender in a 2-0 victory against IUPUI.

2004 - Started in all 17 matches on defense...one of UE's most highly skilled players...scored her only goal October 1 in a 5-3 win over Northern Iowa...also assisted on a Lindsay Ince goal October 22 in a 4-3 win over IPFW.

High School/Club - Totaled 25 goals and 65 assists in her career at Mother McAuley High School...three-year all-conference selection...also earned all-academic and all-sectional honors...two-time team MVP...also competed for Windy City Pride, which won three state club titles and two regional championships while she was on the team.

Personal - Angela Bleecher...born August 26, 1986 in Oak Lawn, Ill...daughter of Carl and Terese Bleecher...outstanding student who is majoring in physical therapy.
