2019: As a senior, ran in five races…set his top 5K time at Austin Peay, running a 17:22.9 on his way to a season-high 31st place finish…top 8K race was a 30:44 at the Fast Cats Classic…ran a 31:47.4 at the UE Invitational.
2018: Took part in two races…registered a 23:24 at the 6K Austin Peay Invitational, finishing 37th…finished the 8K UE Invitational in 31:57, placing 70th.
2017: Ran in six races in 2017…set his top time of the year with a 29:30.0 to take 36th at the 8K UE Invitational…followed that up with a 29:31.44 in the MVC Championship.
2016: Posted times in six races of freshman campaign…ran a PR of 28:18.56 in the 8K Greater Louisville Classic…finished the UE Invitational in 28:38.3 at Angel Mounds…top finish of 34th came in the 4-mile Austin Peay Invitational where he ran a 23:29.
Prior to UE: Personal best 5K time of 16:58 came as a senior in 2015.
Personal: Son of Kirk and Erin Dawson…native of Trafalgar, Ind. where he attended Indian Creek HS.
