2019: Set PR’s in the 5K, 8K and 10K races in final collegiate season…finished in 34th at the Belmont Opener before improving to a 17th at the UNA Open, finishing the 8K race in 27:09.1…top finish of 4th came at the 5K Austin Peay Invitational with a time of 15:06.5…set what at the time was a PR at the Fast Cats Classic, running a 26:38 8K race, finishing in 20th…bested his time at the UE Invitational with a new PR of 26:25.0 placing 15th…wrapped up his career with a 10K PR of 34:56.8 at the NCAA Regionals.
2018: Posted a time in all seven races…opened the season with back-to-back finishes of 22nd…took 12th place at the Austin Peay Invitational, wrapping up the 5K in 19:37…his top 8K time of 27:05 came in the MVC Championship.
2017: Posted a time in each race of the season and was one of UE’s top runners...ran best 8K time of the season at the John McNichols Invite, recording a 27:40.4 to finish in 25th…best finish was a 22nd at the 6K Austin Peay Invitational…notched a finish of 28th at the UE Invitational running a time of 28:29.9.
2016: Was the Purple Aces’ top finisher in each race of his first collegiate season…his PR of 27:11.00 in the Greater Louisville Classic was the best 8K time on the team in 2016…in his debut, he posted a 27:15.79 at the EIU Walt Crawford Open…top finish was a sixth at the 4-mile Austin Peay Invitational where he finished with a time of 22:20.
Personal: Son of Martin and Maria Hendrix…native of North Vernon, Ind. where he went to Jennings County High School.
