Fall 2022 (XC):

• Competed in all four meets in his final season in a Purple Aces' uniform
• Ran second for UE in each of the season's final three meets
• Turned in a personal-best 8-K time of 27:25.8 at the Live In Lou Classic in Louisville, Kentucky (10/1/22)
• Placed a season-best 20th with a time of 27:52.6 at the UE Invitational in his final home meet (10/15)
• Wrapped up his UE cross country career with a time of 28:21.2 to place second on the team at the 2022 MVC Championships

Fall 2021 (XC):

• Finished his fourth year at UE strong, with his two best races coming in his final two meets of the season.
• Competed in all six meets for UE as the team’s captain.
• Began the year running fifth on the team, but ran third on the team at both the MVC Championships (10/29/21) and NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships (11/12/21).
• Turned in a season-best 8-K time of 28:59.8 at the MVC Championships – his lowest time since his sophomore campaign.
• Also posted a 10-K time of 36:54.4 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships.

Spring 2021 (XC):

• Competed in all three meets during the COVID-shortened spring season.
• His best 8-K time of the year came at the Belmont Opener (1/24/21) with a time of 32:19.8.
• Also ran seventh on the team at the Murray State Open (33:08.5 – 2/5/21) and the MVC Championships (32:40.5 – 3/3/21).

Fall 2019 (XC):

• Ran in six of UE’s seven races as a sophomore.
• Turned in his PR in the 5-K at the Austin Peay Cross Country Festival, running a 16:27.0 while finishing a season-best 24th (9/21/19).
• His best 8-K time of the season was a 28:40 at the Fast Cats Classic (10/12/19).
• Ran fourth for UE at the 10-K NCAA Regional (11/15/19) in a personal-best time of 36:23.8, besting his freshman 10-K effort by 37 seconds.

Fall 2018 (XC):

• Ran in all seven races for UE as a freshman.
• Consistently ran in UE’s top six.
• Opened his career running fifth for UE and placing 32^nd overall at the Walt Crawford Open (29:46.3 – 8/31/18).
• Set his 6-K career mark at the Austin Peay Invitational as his 20:45 saw him take 16^th place (9/22/18).
• His 8-K PR was 28:20.3 at the UE Invitational (10/13/18).
• Finished the year running the 10K NCAA Regional in 37:00 (11/9/18).

Personal:

• Majoring in Exercise Science
• Father, Darby, was a 3-sport athlete at Rose Hulman (wrestling, football, baseball) and mom, Lori, played basketball at Saint Mary of the Woods
• Cousin of Josh Phegley, who was a catcher for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics and Chicago Cubs
• Brother, Kade, plays baseball at Rose Hulman
• Lettered four times in cross country and track & field while earning three letters in soccer
• Earned Indiana All-Conference in cross county on two occasions and once in track
• Earned the conference championship in track in the 4x800 and the 800
• Set the school record in the 4x800
• Was a New Balance Nationals Qualifier in the 4x800 and 4x400 in the Championship Division
• Earned three cross country sectional championships, one regional crown and a semi-state championship
• A 3-time Sectional Track Champion
• Qualifier for the Miracle Mile on two occasions
