EVANSVILLE, Ind.--The University of Evansville baseball program will conduct an Offense/Defense Clinic, a Big League Clinic Series featuring former UE standouts Andy Benes and Jamey Carroll, and the annual High School Advanced Skills Camp this winter at UE.

The Offense/Defense Clinic will take place on Thursday, December 27 for players in grades 4-8 and on Friday, December 28 for players in grades 9-12. The Offense/Defense Clinics will be broken up into two sessions, running from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days.

The Big League Series will take place on Saturday, February 9 on the UE campus. Benes, a 14-year Major League pitcher and former NCAA?Player of the Year at UE, will help conduct a Big League Pitching Clinic for players in grades 6-12 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, February 9. Carroll, a former All-American infielder at Evansville and current member of the Cleveland Indians, will conduct a Big League Infield Clinic from 1 to 4 p.m. on February 9 for players in grades 6-12.

The annual UE High School Advanced Camp will take place on Sunday, February 17. An Advanced Pitching/Catching Camp will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, while an Advanced Offense/Defense Camp will run from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on February 17. The High School Advanced Camp is for players in grades 9-12 who want to learn what it takes to play baseball at the collegiate level.
