UE Baseball Helps Habitat For Humanity's Operation Home Again

On Saturday, November 3, 2007, members of the University of Evansville baseball program assisted with Habitat for Humanity's "Operation Home Again."  "Operation Home Again" helps build houses for those people directly affected by the November, 2005 tornado which hit the Tri-State area.  The 10 Purple Aces and coaches who were able to help out helped put on half of a roof for two separate houses in the complex.

Here are pictures from UE's efforts with Habitat for Humanity on November 3:

Assistant coach Wes Carroll helps UE's roofing efforts by carrying supplies to the first house. Sophomore Alex Acheson begins the shingle assembly line.
Junior Tom Heithoff gets in a quick work out on the shingle assembly line. Sophomore Alex Acheson begins UE's efforts on the roof of house one.
A team of Purple Aces is hard at work on the roof of house two. The Purple Aces pose for a group photo after a job well done.
