Biography

2024
  • Played in six games for the Aces mostly as a pinch hitter and infield substitution
  • Connected on two hits in five at-bats for a .400 average with one double.
  • Had a season-best game against Purdue Fort Wayne with his lone double of the season and a run scored.
2023
  • A key part of the UE lineup as a sophomore with all of the various injuries on the squad in 2023
  • Played in 23 games with 14 starts at DH, third base and even right field
  • Also played a game in left field at Murray State after injuries to two UE outfielders from a collision in game one of a doubleheader (4/23/23 - Game 2)
  • Hit .160 with two doubles and six RBI in 50 at-bats
  • Came through with a pinch-hit sacrifice fly in his first plate appearance of the year at Troy in the ninth inning to get UE back within a run and advance the potential tying run to third base (2/19/23)
  • Made his first start in UE’s home opener against Eastern Michigan and went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI as DH (2/24/23) after being pressed into action due to an injury to Mark Shallenberger in pre-game warm-ups
  • It marked his first career multi-hit game, first career extra-base hit, and first career RBI as a Purple Ace
  • Drove in a season-best two runs in a win against Bowling Green State (3/4/23)
  • Knocked a double against Belmont in MVC play (4/1/23)
  • Made his first career start in right field at WKU (4/11/23)
  • Went 2-for-3 with a run scored in an emergency start at third base against #14 Indiana State (4/29/23) after an injury to Brent Widder the night before
  • Came through with a clutch two-strike, two-out pinch-hit single off of Indiana State’s Jared Spencer to key UE’s four-run ninth-inning rally in the first of two MVC Tournament Championship games which UE won 6-5 (5/27/23)
  • Played summer baseball for the Cincinnati Steam of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League
  • Earned second-team all-Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League honors after hitting .301 with five doubles, a home run, 16 RBI and 16 runs scored in 28 games for the Steam
  • His first hit of summer baseball was a two-run home run
2022
  • Played in eight games with three starts as a true freshman at UE
  • Made two starts at third base and one start at designated hitter
  • Hit .111 (2-for-18) with three runs scored and four walks
  • Made his UE debut as a pinch-hitter in UE’s home-opener against Dayton (2/26/22)
  • Made his first start at third base at #18 Tulane (3/12/22)
  • Made back-to-back starts at third base in UE’s series sweep at #18 Tulane, scoring his first run and working a walk in UE’s 15-5 win (3/13/22)
  • Collected his first hit with a single at Western Kentucky, while going 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored as DH (3/22/22)
  • Played in his only regular-season MVC game against Southern Illinois, going 0-for-1 as a pinch-hitter (4/8/22)
  • Also went 1-for-2 with a run scored against SIUE (5/11/22) 
PREP
  • A highly-rated shortstop for the Mason High School Comets, just north of Cincinnati
  • Earned Division I second-team all-state honors as a senior from the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association
  • Ranked as the 17th-best shortstop in the state of Ohio by Prep Baseball Report
  • Rated as the 12th-best shortstop in Ohio by Perfect Game as a senior
  • Also pitched during his high school career
