Played four seasons of varsity baseball with Avon High School mostly at third base and earned a Varsity Letterman Award all four years
Averaged a .239 at the plate in his senior season with 26 hits, four doubles, one home run, 13 RBIs, and 13 runs scored while having a .878 fielding average
Helped the Orioles to the IHSAA 4A Semi-State Championships
Had a breakout junior season averaging .287 with 27 hits, six doubles, three triples, one home run, 21 RBIs, and 12 runs scored
Helped the Orioles to the Brownsburg Sectional semi-final game in the 2023 IHSAA Class 4A Tournament where they fell to the eventual sectional winner and home team Brownsburg Bulldogs.
Played travel ball with The Midlands and the Indiana Bulls.

His dad played baseball at UE in 2001 and 2002 before being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals while his uncle Jamie played at Cincinnati
Also played football and considers it his second best sport
Says his favorite food is bacon
Is majoring in exercise science at UE to become a strength coach
Wears the number 19 because of Jim Sorgi, former backup Colts quarterback from 2004-2009, who was a personal mentor of Vandever's
Says his hidden talent is freestyling
