2023
  • Appeared in two games in relief for UE in his fourth season at Evansville
  • Posted a perfect 0.00 ERA with a pair of strikeouts in 2.0 innings of work
  • Worked a perfect ninth inning with a strikeout at Bellarmine (3/15/23)
  • Also worked a perfect ninth inning with a strikeout and a pair of groundouts against Belmont (4/1/23)

  • Appeared in four games as a junior
  • Went 0-0 with a 21.00 ERA, giving up eight runs (seven earned) in 3.0 innings of work
  • Six of his eight runs allowed came in his first outing of the year at #10 N.C. State (2/18/22)

  • Son of Michelle and Greg Kressin
  • Has a younger sibling Trevin
  • Graduated from UE last May with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing a Master's in Leadership
  • His great-grandfather Vic Johnson was a left-handed pitcher for both the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians from 1944-46, going 6-8 with a 5.06 ERA at the Major League level in three seasons of work
  • Johnson’s best season was 1945, when he went 6-4 with a 4.01 ERA in 85.1 innings of work for the Red Sox
  • Also played football and basketball growing up
  • Lists basketball as his second-best sport
  • Hobbies include being outside and watching Netflix
  • Favorite food is pizza
  • Wears the #10 because “I’ve had it every year since I’ve been playing competitive sports, and it is the month I was born in”
  • Lists his hidden talent as being able to do wheelies on a rip-stick
  • Wants to be a physical therapist when he is done playing baseball
