2023
  • A key part of the UE bullpen once again in his fourth season at UE
  • Moved from closer to a pitcher used in high-leverage situations from the right side out of the pen
  • Went 1-3 with a save and a 4.50 ERA in 22 appearances
  • Moved into UE’s career top 10 in saves with a 2.0 inning save at Middle Tennessee State (3/11/23)
  • After giving up four runs in a season-opening outing at Troy, he bounced back to throw 6.1 scoreless innings of relief in his next three outings, including 3.0 scoreless innings at #7 Vanderbilt (3/8/23)
  • One of his best outings came at Murray State, shutting out the Racers over 2.2 innings of two-hit baseball while striking out three (4/23/23-Game 2)
  • Also tossed 2.0 scoreless innings of one-hit relief against nationally-ranked Indiana State (4/29/23)
  • Threw a season-high 3.1 innings of scoreless, no-hit baseball against Bradley, striking out three (5/13/23)
  • Struck out a season-high five men against Indiana State in the MVC Tournament (5/26/23)
  • Went 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in eight MVC appearances on the year, striking out 11 men in 12.0 innings of work and holding the opposition to a .167 batting average
  • Was nearly untouchable at home, going 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA in nine appearances at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium, with 15 strikeouts in 13.0 innings of work

  • Once again served as UE’s primary closer
  • Tied for eighth in the MVC with four saves
  • Went 0-0 with a 2.65 ERA, striking out 20 men in 17.0 innings of work, while holding teams to a .206 batting average against
  • Did not allow an earned run in seven of his 11 appearances
  • Earned his first save with four strikeouts in 1.1 innings of scoreless relief work against UIC (3/4/22)
  • Also tossed a scoreless inning the next day against the Flames (3/5/22)
  • Earned the save in UE’s 5-3 win at #18 Tulane by tossing 1.1 no-hit, scoreless innings, while striking out three (3/12/22)
  • Also earned saves in non-conference action at WKU (3/22/22) and against Michigan State (4/2/22)
  • Was shut down for a majority of the month of April due to injury
  • Tossed a season-high 3.0 innings against Southern Illinois in the MVC Tournament, allowing a single run on three hits (5/28/22)
2021
  • Evansville’s primary closer, appearing in 22 contests in his first full collegiate season
  • Tied for second in the MVC with six saves, while amassing a 5-1 record and 3.68 ERA
  • Tied for seventh in the MVC and second on the team with 22 relief appearances
  • Struck out 31 men in 29.1 innings of work, while holding teams to a .218 batting average against
  • Opened the year not allowing a run through his first eight relief appearances, spanning 10.2 innings of work (did not allow a run until April 4, 2021)
  • Threw a pair of scoreless relief outings at #12 Georgia, earning the save in UE’s 3-2 win over the Bulldogs in the season-opener by going 1.2 innings of scoreless relief work (2/19/21)
  • Earned back-to-back wins on March 6 and March 7 against Western Illinois with 3.0 combined innings of shutout relief
  • Also earned saves in non-conference action with scoreless outings against Northern Illinois (2/27/21) and Xavier (3/27/21)
  • Opened MVC play by earning a win and a save with a pair of scoreless relief outings at Bradley (1.2 IP, 3 K – 4/9/21 and 1.1 IP, 2 K – 4/11/21)
  • Earned a save in UE’s 4-2 win over Missouri State, yielding a run on two hits in an inning of work (4/17/21)
  • Earned a save in non-conference action against league-member Southern Illinois with a scoreless inning of work (5/9/21)
  • Registered his final two victories at Valparaiso (5/16/21) and against Indiana State (5/21/21) out of the pen
  • Struck out a season-high four men in a season-long 3.1-inning outing against Illinois State in the MVC Tournament (5/25/21), giving up a run on two hits while walking three
2020
  • Appeared in six games with one start as a freshman
  • Went 0-1 with a 7.27 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 8.2 innings of work
  • Made his UE debut at Tennessee Tech, giving up a solo home run in an inning of work (2/16/20)
  • Has not given up a home run since in his collegiate career
  • Made his first career start at #1 Vanderbilt, and earned a tough-luck loss, giving up a run in his only inning of work while facing future MLB prospect Jack Leiter on the mound (2/25/20)
  • Tossed a season-high 3.0 innings at Middle Tennessee State, giving up two runs on four hits, while striking out a season-best four men (2/21/20)
  • His best outing was his last one – as he tossed a scoreless seventh inning with two strikeouts against Indiana in the first-ever game at German American Bank Field at Charles H. Braun Stadium (3/10/20)

  • A three-time all-conference pitcher at Columbus North High School in Indiana
  • A 2019 Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason All-America selection
  • Also a 2018 Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason Underclass All-America pick
  • Earned Academic All-State honors on the diamond as well
