  • Full name is John Stephen MacCauley IV
  • Son of Shelly and Chris Bell and Francie and John MacCuley III
  • Has four siblings:  Parker MacCauley, Sam Bell, Jack Bell and Carrie Bell
  • Pursuing his Master's of Science in Leadership at UE
  • His father, John III, is a member of the UE Athletics Hall of Fame and pitched at UE from 1989 through 1992
  • His father, John III, was named the Midwestern Collegiate Conference Player of the Year in 1991 and earned ABCA All-America honors
  • His father, John III, was a two-time MLB draftee at Evansville and played two years in the Oakland Athletics organization
  • His grandfather, John Sr., is also in the UE Athletics Hall of Fame as the longtime men’s basketball public address announcer for the UE men’s basketball team at Roberts Stadium (both John Sr. and John III were inducted into the UE Hall of Fame in 2013)
  • Played soccer and basketball growing up, and lists basketball as his second-best sport
  • Favorite food is anything Italian
  • Wants to become a developer and a home builder after his baseball days are done
  • Lists golf as his hidden talent
