• Lettered three times in baseball at Morris Community High School for head coach Todd Kein
• Three-time All-I8 Conference selection and two-time All-Area pick
• Became a part of the Morris Community HS 100-hit club with 137 career hits
• Helped his team to a third-place finish in the State Tournament and helped the program make their first state appearance in 20 years
• Led Morris to three I8 Conference championships, two Regional championships, and a Sectional and Super-Sectional title
• Was a three-sport athlete, earning three letters in football and two letters in basketball
• Helped his team to two conference titles and two Semi-State appearances on the gridiron
• Received the Ryan Bernickus Award, given to the Morris Community HS senior who displays character both on and off the field
• Played travel baseball for Top Tier South

• Son of Naz and Ria Baftiri
• Has an older sister, Sabrina
• His father, Naz, played football at Olivet Nazarene University, while his sister, Sabrina, ran cross country at the University of St. Francis
• Hobbies include weightlifting, football, basketball, chess and photography
• Majoring in Exercise Science at UE
• Bilingual in English and Albanian
• Career goals include to see how far baseball takes him and earn his college degree
