Prior to UE:
- Named the Gatorade Kentucky Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 2020
- As a senior, he averaged 23.5 points and 10.6 boards while leading his team to a 30-4 mark
- Completed his high school career with 1,746 points and 1,101 rebounds becoming just the second player in school history to post 1,000 of each
- Was a 2-time Area Player of the Year honoree by the News-Enterprise in Elizabethtown
