Biography
2024-25:
- Named to MVC Most Improved Team
- Earned a spot on the MVC Scholar-Athlete Third Team
- Finished third on the team with 12.7 points per game while chipping in an average of 3.6 rebounds
- Missed final 12 games after suffering an injury against UIC
- Tallied 23 points on Nov. 16 against Radford
- Set career marks in scoring (27), field goals (10), and attempts (16) in win over Green Bay
- Added 25 points while hitting 7 of his 12 3-point tries against Belmont
- Finished with 20 points and 9 boards in win at SIU
2023-24:
- Made the start in 16 games while playing in all 35 contests
- Completed the season averaging 4.7 points and 1.8 rebounds per game
- Season mark of 11 points came in road games at Indiana State and Illinois State
- Recorded 10 points in victory at SEMO while adding another 10-point outing at Belmont
- Season mark of 7 rebounds came at UNI in a game that saw him post 6 points, 3 assists and 2 steals
- Converted 14 out of 32 3-point attempts in the final 13 games of the season and converted a triple in 8 of the final 9 contests
Prior to UE
- Spent his freshman season playing at Eastern Illinois where he was named the 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year
- Was the top freshman scorer in the OVC with 7.5 points per game (averaged 9.2 PPG in league contests)
- Season-high of 17 points came on three occasions
- Completed the season third in the OVC in 3-point shooting (42.7%)
- Attended Westfield High School where he averaged 16.5 PPG as a senior while setting the single-season school record with 85 3-pointers
- Named an Indiana Large School All-State player in 2022 while earning a spot on the Indianapolis Star All-Super Team
- The 3-time All-Conference selection in high school was an All-Sectional Team member in his final two years of school while picking up a nod on the All-Regional Team as a senior
- Son of UE Hall of Famer Scott Haffner whose #3 jersey was retired by the program in 2014; Scott set the UE single-game scoring record with 65 points against Dayton in 1989
