Biography
2017-18: Played in 20 games while starting 14; continued to mend knee injury…finished the season with 6.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and a total of 53 assists…began senior campaign with 6 points and 3 assists in 29 minutes of work vs. ASU...had 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting against Oakland City...set season scoring mark with 17 pts on 6-11 shooting against Austin Peay...had 5 steals against ILST...made return at ILST recording 4 pts and 5 assists...Senior Day saw him post 8 points and 8 assists.
2016-17: Completed junior season with 7.1 points per game, third on the team…played in 30 games and made 28 starts…led team with 114 assists…finished year with 4.2 rebounds per game…had his best non-conference game in victory over Boise State, totaling ten points and seven assists…had a solid game with 14 points at Drake, went 6/9 from the field and dished out six assists…in contest at Loyola, finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds…had a career outing at Southern Illinois in a big road win; set his career marks in points (27), attempts (15), field goal makes (10) and rebounds (10)…helped the Aces to an Arch Madness win over Indiana State as he made a season-high eight free throws on his way to 20 points; also had seven rebounds.
2015-16: Limited to just four games due to injury…played 14.3 minutes per game…led UE to a win at Murray State, hitting 4 of his 5 shots to score 8 points while registering a pair of steals in 26 minutes of action against the Racers.
2014-15: Played in all 36 games as a sophomore while making 23 starts…led the way for the team with 36 steals while finishing second with 97 assists on the season…totaled 5.1 points and 1.6 rebounds while playing 18.5 minutes per game…opened the season with a strong 12-point effort versus Earlham hitting 4-6 shots and 4 out of 5 free throws…played season-high 34 minutes against Fresno State, had six point and three assists in the win…improved his free throw shooting by nearly 10% in his sophomore campaign…season-high of 16 points came in home game against Loyola as he hit 6 of his 10 shots…tallied 11 points while hitting 5 out of 6 free throws in home win over Indiana State…scored 12 at SIU as the Aces won their second-straight game in Carbondale…hit six out of eight shots in the game…posted 10 points in CIT road win at EIU, hit 5 of his 8 shots while posting three assists and three steals…blocked career-best two shots at Drake while setting season mark with five steals on two occasions.
2013-14: Finished his inaugural season at UE with 124 assists, second on the team...named MVC Newcomer of the Week on Nov. 25, 2013...averaged 3.8 assists per game, 7th in the MVC...averaged a 1.2 assist/turnover ratio to rank 10th in the Valley...finished in double digits in scoring in three of his first four games...tallied 15 points in road triumph at IUPUI...set career mark with 23 points in win over Mercer, had 7 rebounds while hitting 11 out of 12 free throws, both season marks...finished with 12 tallies and 10 assists in victory over Valparaiso for his first double-double, also set his high in minutes against the Crusaders with 35...set career high with 11 assists versus Anderson...registered 12 points and 7 assists in win over Miami Ohio...his top shooting effort came in regular season finale at Loyola, went 9-13 from the floor while finishing with 22 points...career-best 8 rebounds came in home game against Missouri State.
At Villa Angela St. Joseph: As a senior – Plain Dealer Player of the Year…News Herald Player of the Year…First Team All-Ohio…North Coast League MVP…North Coast League First Team…D-4 State Championship MVP…led team to state championship in 2013 with a 25-4 record; also won the North Coast League…as a senior, posted 12 points/game, 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
