2019-20: Led the Missouri Valley Conference with an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.6…for the season, he had 72 assists against just 28 turnovers…averaged 4.0 points and 2.5 rebounds while playing 20.6 minutes per game as a sophomore…began the season with five points in win over Ball State…played 26 minutes and tied season mark of six caroms in win at #1 Kentucky…top scoring game of his career was a 15-point outing in win over Morgan State…was 4-7 from the field while knocking down five of his seven free throws…had eight points and season mark of five assists in triumph over Miami Ohio…hit six out of eight free throws against the RedHawks…made first start of the season against Bradley while playing career-high 30 minutes…had three starts as a sophomore (1/8, 1/11, 1/15)…tied season mark of six boards at Indiana State…best MVC scoring game was nine tallies in home game vs. Drake, was 3-for-3 from outside…tied season mark with five helpers at Bradley and Southern Illinois…posted first block of the season at UNI.

2018-19: Freshman turned heads playing in all 32 games while making the start on six occasions…opened his career with four points and four assists at Illinois…after scoring a total of four points in his first two games, he scored six or more in the next five contests including 9 points versus Texas Southern and a career-high of 12 against Wyoming…in the win over the Cowboys, he hit six free throws and had two steals…made his first start against Green Bay and finished with 8 points and a perfect 6-6 game from the free throw line in 19 minutes of work…set a then-career mark of 24 minutes played in home win over Drake…notched 10 points in road game at UNI on 4-5 shooting; was 2-2 from long range…started four games in a row at SIU, vs. MSU, vs. UNI and at Loyola…was 4-7 from the field and set his mark with six helpers at SIU…poured in 10 points in home game against the Panthers…started the road game at Valpo…averaged 4.7 points and 2.7 rebounds per game for the season…hit 9 of his last 19 3-point tries…finished the year with 75 assists against 42 turnovers in 547 minutes…was 7th in the MVC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.8).

Prior to UE: A native of Toronto, he spent the last two seasons playing at the First Love Christian Academy in Washington, Pa....Givance averaged 17 points, 8 assists and 2.5 steals per contest while helping his squad to a mark of 18-10 against a competitive schedule...played AAU basketball for the Northern Kings in Toronto.
