FALL 2022 (XC)
- Competed in all four meets as a true freshman at UE
- Cut over a minute and a half off of his best 8-K time in the course of six weeks, posting a season-best time of 28:52.0 at the 2022 MVC Championships in Terre Haute (10/28/22)
- Began his UE career with a time of 30:23.6 in the 8-K on the exact same LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute at the John McNichols Invitational (9/17/22)
- Also competed in the Live In Lou Classic (28:54.1 – 8K – 10/1/22) and the UE Invitational (29:11.2 – 8K – 10/15/22)
- Ran third for UE in each of the last three meets of the season
PREP
- Lettered four years in cross country, four years in track, and two in basketball at Central Crossing High School
- A three-time team MVP in cross country, and two-time track MVP
- Earned second-team all-conference honors in cross country
- Qualified for regionals in track
PERSONAL
- Son of Brian and Cynthia Taylor
- Has an older brother, Chris, a younger brother Isaiah, and an older sister, Alyssa
- Related to Jonathan Alder, who was the first pioneer in Madison County, Ohio, just west of Columbus
- Majoring in Biology (Pre-Med) at UE, with the career goal of being an anesthesiologist
- Chose UE because "it is the perfect place to get me into med school and to improve my athletic performance."
