2022-23:
- Competed in all seven meets of the year for UE, including the 2023 CSCAA National Invitational Championships
- Anchored UE’s 800-Yard Freestyle Relay squad which set a new school record of 6:39.32 at the MAC Championships (3/1/23)
- Earned Academic All-MAC honors once again while maintaining a perfect 4.00 GPA in Actuarial Science and Spanish
- Served as team captain as a junior
- Swam a personal-best time of 16:13.12 in the 1,650-Yard Freestyle to place 12th overall at the MAC Championships (3/4/23)
- Also placed 13th in the MAC in the 200-Yard Freestyle with a season-best finals time of 1:40.72 at the MAC Championships
- Placed 16th overall in the 500-Yard Freestyle at the MAC Championships
- Competed in the 200-, 500-, and 1,650-Yard Freestyle events, as well as the 800 Free Relay event at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships
- Also very active on campus and served as part of UE’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee executive committee
2021-22:
- Qualified For The 2022 CSCAA National Invitational Championships
- Earned Academic All-MAC honors after carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom
- Competed in all eight meets for UE, primarily as a distance freestyle specialist
- Swam a collegiate-best time in the 1,650-Yard Freestyle of 16:21.57 to place 11th overall in the MAC at the MAC Championships (3/5/22)
- His 1,650 Free time ranks him as the tenth-fastest swimmer in the event in UE history
- His 1,000-Yard Freestyle split time of 9:53.42 from that MAC Championship swim also ranks him as the tenth-fastest Ace in the event in school history
- Also posted a personal-best time of 1:40.46 in the 200-Yard Freestyle at the MAC Championships (3/4/22) to move into eighth place on UE’s career top 10 chart
- His best 500-Yard Freestyle time of the season also came at the MAC Championships with a mark of 4:39.41
- Competed in the 800 Free Relay as well as the 200-, 500-, and 1,650-Yard Freestyle events at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships
2020-21:
- Swam in all five meets as a freshman during the COVID-shortened spring season
- Cracked UE’s career top five in the 500-Yard Freestyle event as a freshman, as he posted a personal-best time of 4:35.07 at the MAC Championships (4/8/21)
- Placed ninth overall in the MAC in the 1,650-Yard Freestyle with a time of 16:27.41
- Primarily swam the 500 Free and 1,000/1,650 Free events, but also posted a personal-best time of 1:55.77 in the 200-Yard Butterfly at the MAC Championships (4/10/21)
- Earned the Freshman of the Year Award for the Mathematics Department in the classroom
Prior To UE:
- Swam at Mount Hebron High School
- 2018 Maryland Swimming Long Course Champion in the 800 Free, second place in the 400 Free and 1500 Free
- Took third in the 2019 Maryland Swimming Long Course Championships 800 Free race

- Son of Glenn and Wendy Kay
- Has a younger brother Tyler
- Father was on the University of Toledo Swimming and Diving Team from 1992-1996

- Majoring in Actuarial Science and Spanish at UE
