Biography
2011-12: Served as Team Captain… finished the season ranked 9th in the MAC in the 50-free and 11th in the 100-free… won the 100-free against Lindsay Wilson with a time of 48.49…swam in four first-place relay teams…ended the season with nine Top-3 times in various individual events…owned UE’s best time in the 50-free (21.02) and the second fastest time in the 100-free.
2010-11: Posted a win against Centre College on October 16…finished in 14th place in the 100-freestyle at the MAC Championships…posted season-best times in the 50- free, 100- and 200-free at the MAC Championships…owned the team’s fastest time in the 100-freestyle…named honorable mention Academic All-MAC selection.
2009-10: Earned first in the 50 free against Miami (OH)… won the 500 free at Eastern Illinois…took third in the 200 and 500 free at IUPUI Invite…placed second in 50 free at St. Louis…had second place finish against SIU in 100 free.
At Lawrence Central: All-conference selection…sectional champion in 200 medley relay…two-time state qualifier…holds three school records for the Bears.
Personal: Son of Scott and Alice Tiemann…majoring in accounting.
