Prior To UE:
- Attended the Aspire Academy in Qatar
- Participated in club sports for the AlSadd Sports Club
- Won a gold medal in the third Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) games with a new GCC Games record in the 200-Meter backstroke
- Was an Arab Medalist in both 2021 and 2022
- Won several GCC gold medals in various competitions
- Qatari record holder in both the 100- and 200-Meter Backstroke events
Personal:
- Son of Ashraf Hassan
- Twin brother of fellow UE swimmer Omar Ashraf Hassan
- Enjoys beating his brother, Omar, in FIFA
- His father was a professional hockey player for the Egyptian national team and was a junior team hockey coach for the national team as well
- Majoring in Computer Science at UE
