Biography
2010-11: Finished with several personal best times at MAC Championships...posted career-best times in the 50-free, 100-free and 100-fly during the season.
2009-10: Earned top personal times in 50 and 100 free and 100 fly at MAC Championships…tabbed top time in 200 fly against Asbury College…helped 200 free relay to fifth place finish at Indiana Intercollegiate.
2008-09: Held the top time for the team in the 50 fly…earned his best times of the season in 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly at the Sun Belt Championships…finished fourth in the 50 free against Eastern Illinois.
2007-08: Had a second place finish in the 200 IM and a third place finish in the 100 breast at Rose Hulman…finished third in the 200 IM at Western Kentucky…swam to a third place finish in the 200 IM at IUPUI.
At Castle: Four year letterwinner in swimming...a state qualifier...sectional champion in the 100 fly...a conference champion in the 100 fly and 50 free...was an All-American...team captain of high school squad.
Personal: Son of Doug and Debbie Kanet...brother to UE swimmer Sarah Kanet...majoring in marketing and global business.
