2019: Appeared in the circle in 14 games while making 18 plate appearances for UE…started games against DePaul and Butler…earned the win against Green Bay, throwing 3 2/3 innings of 1-hit ball…had scoreless outings against Ohio University and Western Kentucky…made final pitching appearance at Drake, allowing one run in three frames…was 1-2 in game against DePaul…picked up two hits in doubleheader at Southern.

2018: Made an impact for the team in the circle and at the plate…made 21 pitching appearances while notching 31 at-bats…tossed 61.0 innings while finishing with a 3.90 ERA…pitched to a record of 2-6…won the opener over Samford, tossing 4 2/3 frames while allowing three runs on seven hits…second win came against Dayton as she threw three scoreless innings of relief in a 1-0 win…had four scoreless outings in a row between 4/13 and 4/28…at the plate, she batted .226 with seven hits in 31 appearances…had first hit against Oakland while notching an RBI double in a 9-6 victory…had two hits in game two against Drake…in her final game of the season, went 2-3 with a double at Bradley.

2017: Started 12 games in the circle and also received 15 at-bats…won three games while finishing with a 5.71 ERA in 68.2 innings…in 2/18 game at Auburn, tossed 4.0 scoreless innings, giving up one hit…won her first game against Austin Peay, allowing three earned runs in 5 2/3 frames…went five scoreless innings at Drake in her second win of 2017…had a 7-inning, 1-run performance at Missouri State to help Aces to a series win over the Bears..picked up two hits on the season, going 1-1 with an RBI at Drake while going 1-3 with a run batted in at Missouri State.

Prior to UE: Played at Troy HS in Troy, Texas…earned letters in softball, basketball and track…was a 3-time All-District pitcher…named the 2012 16 2A Pitcher of the Year…2-time MVP…earned two Academic All-District accolades…was also a 2-time Academic All-State.

Personal: Daughter of Douglas and Shellie Downing…has a younger brother – Chance.
