Biography

2018: Earned a spot on the MVC All-Defensive Team…made transition to outfield, starting all 49 games of senior season…led team with 27 RBI…opened season going 2-3 with three runs scored, three RBI, a home run and a steal against Samford…picked up two more RBI against Winthrop on 2/16…hit another home run in a 2/18 meeting against Samford and recorded three more RBI…posted home runs in back-to-back games on 2/24 versus Eastern Illinois and Western Illinois…led team with nine steals…hit a 3-run home run as UE swept doubleheader over UNI on 3/25…went 5-10 with three runs, three RBI and another home run in series win at Loyola.

2017: MVC Newcomer of the Year…led team with a .309 batting average while scoring team-high 36 runs and posting 22 walks…swiped 16 bases…started 52 games for UE with 48 at shortstop and four at second base…notched two hits in four plate appearances versus Creighton…first home run came against Northwestern State before she hit another one against them the next day in an 8-7 win…went 9-of-12 in Drake Series while scoring nine runs, went 3-4 with two doubles in opener before going 2-3 with three RBI in game two and 4-5 with three more runs scored in the series finale.

Prior to UE: Attended Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School before spending the last two seasons playing at Kankakee (IL) Community College…at KCC, she was named the NJCAA Outstanding Defensive Player of the Nation each year and was a NJCAA All-American in 2016…began as a college freshman where she hit .503 with 13 home runs and 68 RBI; followed that up hitting .512 as a sophomore with 23 homers 90 RBI…named a Coaches Association All-American, All-District and All-Region player in both years of JUCO play…in high school, was an All-County, All-Conference, All-Area and All-State player while winning the 2014 batting championship, two player of the year honors and was the 2011 Female Athlete of the Year.
