Jordan Seneca is entering her third season on the field for the 22-23 season with the University of Evansville softball program. She works primarily with UE’s hitters and infielders, while assisting with all other aspects of the UE program. During the 2022 season, the Purple Aces improved in doubles (69), triples (12), hits (315), and fielding percentage (.955).
Seneca was elevated to the Purple Aces assistant coach in the summer of 2021 following a season with the program as its graduate assistant. She joined the UE staff in 2020 following two seasons as an assistant coach at LaSalle.
A four-year letter winner at Saint Francis, Seneca helped the Red Flash win back-to-back NEC Championships in 2017 and 2018. During that span, the team was a perfect 38-0 in conference play.
Over the course of her career, the former shortstop set single-season SFU and NEC records for home runs (22) and RBIs (66). Seneca also holds school records in runs (181), walks (154) and steals (56), while finishing second for home runs (48) and RBIs (156). Seneca became just the 11th player in NCAA Division I history in 2017 to hit two grand slams in the same game which led Saint Francis to beat Texas Tech 12-10 in extra-innings. Seneca was a two-time NFCA All-Region Third Team selection, while also accumulating three All-NEC Team selections throughout her career.
She completed her Master’s Degree in Leadership from UE in December 2021 and completed her bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, with a concentration in fitness professionals from SFU in 2018.
