- Named the MVC Player of the Week on February 21 after batting .571 with six runs, five walks, five RBI, four stolen bases and two home runs in home-opening tournament
- Tied for fourth in the conference with 15 stolen bases
- In two games against Kansas City, she went 4-for-5 with five RBI, five runs, two steals, two home runs and a double
- Third homer of the season came in the series finale against Illinois State where she went 2-4 at the plate
2022
- Earned a spot on the MVC All-Defensive Team
- Was the only UE player to start and play in all 51 games
- Wrapped up the year batting .263 with 19 runs scored, 12 RBI and 12 walks
- Had a 3-4 effort with a home run and four RBI against Mississippi Valley State
- Against Morehead State, she was 2-3 with a double and three RBI
- Between Feb. 12 and 13, she was 8-for-12 with five RBI
2021
- Missouri Valley Conference All-Defensive Team honoree after fielding a perfect 1.000 on the season
- Played in all 45 games while making 43 starts in the outfield
- Was a perfect 12-for-12 in stolen base attempts
- Scored 16 runs in 2021 while adding 12 RBI and 10 walks
- In opener at Alabama State, went 1-2 with two runs and two RBI
- First multi-hit game of 2021 came in second matchup against Green Bay where she added her first steal of the season
- Picked up two steals in second contest versus Purdue Fort Wayne before recording three swipes in second matchup against Western Michigan
- Added two hits, two RBI and two walks in that game
- Finished the season with two hits in her final five plate appearances
2020: Started 19 games and played in a total of 20 contests in freshman campaign…batted .244 while scoring 11 runs…had 12 RBI, two doubles and a triple while drawing five walks…posted an RBI in her debut against Miami Ohio, a 2-1 Aces win…first hit came against Western Illinois where she went 2-3 with a triple, RBI and run…top game came in victory over Green Bay where she was 1-3 with four RBI, a run, walk and stolen base…scored career mark of three runs in triumph over Georgia Southern where she was 2-3 with a double…followed that up with another multi-hit game, a 2-3 effort with two RBI, two runs scored and a steal…posted a 2-3 game with a double, run and RBI versus Oakland.
Prior to UE: Earned four letters in basketball and softball at Castle HS in Newburgh...her softball accolades include: 2018 1st Team All-Conference, 2018 2nd Team All-State, 2018 All-Metro Player of the Year, 2018 Team MVP, 2019 All-Metro Player of the Year, 1st Team All-State, Indiana All-Star, Miss Softball Indiana contender, 2019 1st Team All-Conference...she holds the career and single season home run records at Castle...in basketball, she was a 2019 All-Metro 2nd Team and All-Conference 2nd Team honoree...her 2018 basketball team was undefeated and won sectionals while her senior team advanced to the final four of the state finals in 2019...her 2018 softball squad advanced to the Elite Eight of the state championship.
Personal: Daughter of Jim and Kristin Hood...has three brothers - Josh, Carter and Cooper...father was a student-athlete at John Logan Junior College before transferring to Trevecca Nazarene College.
