Biography

2019: Suffered an injury in season opener against Purdue Fort Wayne…struck out 10 batters through four innings in that contest…was 1-2 from the plate in that game…tossed an inning against Western Kentucky before striking out nine batters against Houston Baptist on March 2.

2018: Finished her junior season as one of the top pitchers in the nation…was third in the NCAA with 10.6 strikeouts per seven innings…finished ninth in the country with a program record 303 strikeouts…her strikeout-to-walk ratio of 4.09 was in the NCAA top 50…set a program record with 26 strikeouts in 16 innings of work against Southern Illinois; it was the top total in the NCAA in 2018 and was the third-highest tally in NCAA history…finished the year with 11 wins and a 2.00 ERA…struck out double figure batters on 18 occasions…notched 18 K’s versus Austin Peay…at the plate, she batted .232 with five home runs and 17 RBI…belted her first homer of the season on 3/4 against Austin Peay…her first multi-hit game of the season came on 3/2 against the Governors as she went 2-3…had season-high three hits in four trips to the plate against Kent State, had another home run and three RBIs…matched her total of three hits in game two at Valparaiso as she went a perfect 3-3.

2017: One of the top all-around players in the nation…All-MVC Second Team member…led the MVC with 194 strikeouts and was third with a 1.99 ERA…went 14-11 while throwing 172.1 innings…hit .292 at the plate while starting all 53 games…had nine home runs and 32 RBI, both team highs…was second on the team with 21 walks…tossed a no-hitter on 2/19 vs. Creighton while striking out 10…went seven innings or more in 19 games…threw 11 1/3 innings at Wichita State in a 4-3 Aces loss…season high 14 strikeouts came in 2-1 win over Dayton and a 6-4 triumph over Northern Illinois…hit a home run in each game against eventual National Champion Oklahoma...a 2-time MVC Pitcher of the Week (Feb. 20 and March 20).

2016: Named the 2016 MVC Freshman of the Year and also earned a berth on the All-MVC First Team…finished second in the MVC with 209 strikeouts and was just seven shy of the all-time UE single season mark…was third in the Valley with a 1.95 ERA and had four saves…went 16-11 on the season…on offense, batted .301 with 8 home runs and 26 RBI…her 23 RBIs in league play was 4th in the conference while her seven MVC home runs was tied for 4th…earned her first win in first game, allowing one earned run in four innings of work against Eastern Michigan…improved to 2-0 with four scoreless innings in 3-0 shutout against East Tennessee State...threw 11 complete games, including all seven innings of a 6-1 win at UNI…helped UE clinch the series win over the Shockers, going the distance in a 3-2 win…threw season-high nine innings in home game against Southern Illinois…set season mark of nine strikeouts at SIU as UE swept the road doubleheader…matched that mark with nine more in 4-1 win over Loyola in series opener…hit her first home run of the season in victory against UT Martin...had season-high three hits with 2 RBI in win at Bradley…also had three hits in finale at Loyola…season-high of five RBI came at Illinois State as she batted in all five runs of a 5-3 win…helped UE earn a DH split at Indiana State with a home run and three runs batted in…hit four home runs in eight games between April 23 and May 8...was a 4-time MVC Newcomer of the Week and also earned Pitcher of the Week accolades on February 22.

At Brimfield: Was a stellar pitcher and hitter at Brimfield, notched an ERA of of 0.32 as a senior while notching 435 strike outs in her career...finished her time in HS hitting .511 with 44 home runs...helped her team advance to the Elite 8 in 2014 and was the State Championship Runner-Up in 2015...named a 4-time All-Conference player, 4-time All-Area, 4-time All-State while being named the MVP in 2013...named the Offensive Player of the Year in 2012...named the Player of the Year as a senior in 2015.
